Keep the contracted plan, base charge, energy blocks and dated adjustments together. A base energy rate alone may not reproduce the final Japanese electricity charge.
A retailer may offer several residential products with different structures. Copy the contracted plan and actual bill period rather than assuming a provider-wide unit price. Use JPY amounts and metered kWh; do not convert yen into another currency for a local offer comparison.
Check adjustment lines separately
Fuel-cost adjustments can add to or subtract from the energy calculation under the relevant plan. The provider’s applicable monthly table matters. Keep renewable-energy levies and other adjustments visible when reconciling the current bill.
Use manual entry for unsupported text layouts
The analyzer can accept reviewed Japanese bill values in JPY even when document extraction does not recognize the labels. The current scan-language choices do not include Japanese. Enter the numbers manually and check every line; worldwide entry is not a promise of automatic recognition of every bill.
No numeric tariff presets are imported for this market yet. Start with a current bill or written supplier quote. A country guide is not a live rate feed.
Questions, answered.
Can HAUSE automatically read every Japanese bill?
No. Manual reviewed entry is available in JPY. Current scan languages do not include Japanese, and an unfamiliar document layout may not extract useful candidates.
Can a base unit rate reproduce the whole charge?
Only if every applicable component is included. Check the plan’s base charge, blocks and dated adjustments before comparing a modeled subtotal with an actual bill.
