Read the tariff code on the statement
Keep the residential tariff category distinct from any high-consumption classification. Current energy amounts, subsidies and other lines should be copied from the actual statement. The bill analyzer accepts reviewed MXN values without inventing a municipality-specific price.
Do not mistake a payment balance for electricity cost
Past due amounts, payments and account balances can make the amount payable differ from current-period electricity charges. Use the current-period figures and actual kWh to calculate the effective rate. Check whether the bill is monthly or covers a longer period.
Keep seasonal and consumption rules visible
A subsidized block, seasonal allowance or high-consumption classification can change which rate applies. Do not assume a small reduction in kWh changes classification immediately. Use the official category documents and current statement; the library does not contain a complete live CFE tariff feed.
