Establish the measurement
Find the metered energy for the period. kWh measures energy; kW measures power and can appear in a demand charge. MWh must be multiplied by1,000 before entering a kWh field. Copy actual billing days, or check the start/end dates. A monthly payment or prepaid top-up is not automatically a matched consumption period.
Separate the bill from the payment balance
Current electricity charges can differ from the amount payable because of old balances, payments, deposits or non-electricity services. Enter energy, delivery, fixed fees, electricity taxes and credits separately where shown. The unexplained difference is a prompt to review the inputs, not evidence that the utility made an error.
Confirm the number convention
A comma can mean a decimal separator or a thousands separator. Choose the document convention before reading a file, and verify extracted figures against the original. The analyzer offers selected Latin-script scan languages; unfamiliar scripts or layouts can still be entered manually. A file is not automatically accurate because text extraction succeeds.
Keep the source private
Cover names, addresses, account numbers and payment details. Document processing stays in the browser. Only reviewed fields are saved after sign-in and confirmation. Do not paste a bill document or identifying text into Ask HAUSE. Worldwide entry means supported country/currency fields and arithmetic, not automatic recognition of every document or a worldwide supplier connection.
